Well, what a lovely Bank Holiday weekend that was! We spent almost all of it in the garden, making the most of all the unexpected sunshine (whoops: note the dodgy shadow in this sketch - John inconsiderately moved his legs half way through. I only noticed the mistake after I was done!).
Actually, I've been really rather decadent lately and not done a great deal of work since sending off my finished artwork for Baby Goes Baaaaa!. The weather has just been too grand so, apart from sundry bits and bobs, I've hardly been unable to drag myself indoors at all, since getting back from our little jaunt to Cornwall.
But, all good things come to an end and I have to get back down to it first thing in the morning. I am under pressure from Egmont to get the sequel to Baby Goes Baaaaa! written and roughed up ASAP, preferably yesterday, sooner if possible. I know roughly what I want to do and it will feature the same cast of characters. I just have to turn a vague notion into something more concrete (or should that be furry...)
