Weekend of Twirling!

I am spending this morning sorting out a few emails and loose ends, and then packing up my toothbrush, my undies and my dancing petticoat, as I am off at lunchtime to Scarborough - hurrah!

Those followers who have been with me for a while, will know that I am very keen on jiving (for pics, see Jiving). I've not been for quite a while, what with always being out and about in schools, so I have treated myself to a whole weekend of dancing. There will be lessons in the day, and dances at night and I will probably be hobbling around with a limp for several days afterwards! I've never done anything quite like this before, so I'm rather excited.

The timing's perfect too, as it's a lovely fun way to celebrate the end of a very busy season of school visits. My last event for a while was yesterday: I spent the day at a lovely school in Dukinfield, and I'll tell you all about it when I get back. No time to lose for now though - got to get those dancing shoes sorted out...
