SketchCrawl no 8: Walkley Festival

We have been invited to do our next SketchCrawl as part of the Walkley Festival. It's this Saturday July 9th and Cath, who lives in Walkley, has put together an itinerary for us. As usual, everyone is welcome.

We are meeting at 10.00 at Our Gert's Cafe and will kick off the morning's sketching at 10.30. All you need to bring is a sketchbook and whatever you like to draw with. The day is free (except for buying yourself some lunch). Here's the plan of action:

10.30 - 11.30: Primitive Methodist church on South Road (or inside the church / in the library if it's raining)

11.30 - 12.30: house and garden on Carr Road (by kind permission of the owner)
12.45 - 1.30: lunch in Ruskin Park (or the Blake Hotel if it's wet)

1.45 - 2.45: Blake Street / Blake Street Community Nature Reserve
3.00 - 4.00: Ruskin Park Fun Day
4.00 - 5.00: the Blake Hotel, for the usual pass round and chill-out.

Sounds like we are in for a lot of fun. Let's hope the weather is fine. There will be plenty of places to buy things to eat in the park, because of the Fun Day, if you don't want to bother with a packed lunch.

A big thank you to Cath for doing the research and sorting out a plan of action.

See you there I hope!
