I have just booked myself onto the Urban Sketchers Symposium in July. It should be an amazing weekend - 150 sketchers, from all over the world, will be getting together in Lisbon for 3 days. There are lectures and socials, but there are also lots of actual sketching sessions, out 'in the field' in groups, led by various Urban Sketchers, looking at particular subjects or techniques. And then on the afternoon of the final day, there is a big SketchCrawl. I can't wait.
If you are interested in sketching outdoors, you can join in - there are still a few places left and you don't need to be an Urban Sketcher member to take part. Check out the website. Registration is €200.00, but there is so much packed into the 3 days, you will get your money's worth!

That does sound amazing. I haven't sketched among other artists since I graduated... Enjoy!
yay!!!! I signed up in the first hour of registration...but still trying to work out how I am going to get there. Looking forward to seeing you again (I love that I can write that rather than 'meet you')
