Headless Chickens and Stinky Paperbacks

I've had another one of those nice postman visits.


Actually, I very nearly missed him: I was in my coat, rushing around, trying to find my purse and grab my keys, and still find time to set the dishwasher going before I missed my bus (you know, the headless-chicken drill...).

When the doorbell rang, I ignored it. Then I thought better of it.

By the time I opened the door, Posty had already left my package with the neighbours. More time, while he rang their doorbell again and got it back off them. 'Thank you. Goodbye! Gotta dash...'

Oh no: still in my slippers - aaaaahhhhh!

Miraculously, I made the bus, but only by waiting until I got home to find out what was in my surprise parcel. It turned out to be my 6 complimentary copies of the new paperback edition of Stinky! Fantastic.
