Competition - Can You Write or Draw?

Chapter One Promotions' annual children's writing & illustration competition has come round again, and is open to anyone from 7 - 18 years old. They want to see illustrations or short stories (no more than 1000 words) on any one of these titles:

The Magic Pot

Sport's Day Fiasco
The Intergalactic War

Ruddy, Sam and Ondine
Rage

There are 4 prizes of £150, plus other cash prizes for runners up, and £200 worth of books for the school that submits the best overall entry.

All the winning stories and drawings will be published in the Children's Story Book 2011, like this one from 2008.

It costs £5 per story or illustration and you can enter as many times as you like, online or by post.

The deadline 31st October - less than 1 month, so if you fancy giving it a go, you need to get started soon! Why not warm up your brain by having a go at my children's writing workshop, devised for Chapter One last year?
