It's all go at the moment: not only has Bears on the Stairs hit the shops this month, but Dragon's Dinner has just come out in paperback - what an exciting time!

When a book goes into paperback (usually either 6 months or, more likely, a year after the hardback), the publisher sends a few freebie copies to both the author and illustrator, in advance of publication. Mine arrived last month (thanks Hodder). It's then a bit frustrating, because I feel as though it's out, but it's not actually available for a few weeks.

But now it is (hurrah!) and the paperback is great news for me, as I love to read Dragon's Dinner aloud at events. People rarely want to buy a hardback though, so it will be much nicer now I can offer the more affordable paperback version for signing sessions.

As usual, if you would like a signed copy, dedicated to the person of your choice and with a drawing inside, just let me know. They are £5.99 each, plus postage.

Thank you darlings!
Congratulations! Your illustrations are super awesome! :)
Paperback congrats!
On a side note I never quite realized how naturally dragons wear purple polka dots!
Cheers!
