More Stories, More Sketches...


Yep, I'm back on trains. I had a 2nd day in Derby this week too - it's all go at the moment!

I sometimes get quite a wide mix of ages turn up, which is always tricky, because it's hard to pitch it right, but it still went fine. I did more talking when they weren't too young, and showed some of my Dragon's Dinner early sketches, explaining why they were sometimes different to the book.

On the way there, I was really lucky and found my reserved seat was opposite this splendiferously bearded Muslim man. He wasn't sitting very still, so I spent the whole journey on him, trying to get at least one decent sketch. I don't know if he noticed - he never acknowledged that he did.
